Despite recent rumors of pregnancy, Mariah Carey was seen with a drink in her hand on stage at a concert in Singapore!
Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon have been dodging questions of her possible pregnancy, but after she was caught sipping champagne at her concert in Singapore, it looks like we may have to rethink our assumption that she’s expecting! It is obvious that Mariah has a certain glow about her, but if she is drinking alcohol, what looks to be a bump might actually just be bloating or weight gain. Experts are divided on whether it’s OK to drink alcohol while you’re pregnant, but as there is some doubt, an expectant mother should never intentionally put her baby in harm’s way!
“No amount of alcohol at any point during pregnancy is safe,” expert Dr. Susan D. Rich MD, MPH of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome tells TheBump.com. “Once you find out you’re pregnant, you should stop drinking immediately. If you find you’re pregnant and have already had a couple of drinks, stop now.”
But other experts say that it is perfectly fine to have a glass of wine or beer occasionally during pregnancy. “From a rational point of view, an occasional glass of alcohol is fine,” Dr. Jane Minkin MD of the department of OB/GYN at Yale University tells TheBump.com. “If you’re at your sister’s wedding and it comes time to toast with a glass of champagne, it’s perfectly OK. People can get carried away and think crazy things.”
Mariah, with all these tummy-covering outfits and pregnancy rumors, we want to know already — baby-on-board or not? We sure hope you aren’t putting a new baby at risk!

I agree with Caroline 100%. I was sick morning-noon & night during the first trimester of my pregnancy. Ginger Ale helped with the nausea. I also went through 6 yrs of fertility to get pregnant. You are so protective of the baby the second you find out your pregnant that you do everything you can to carry a healthy baby to term. If she is a high risk pregnancy which I’m sure she is. It also means no SEX. She is not a dumb woman. I’m sure to is doing everything her doctors are telling her to do.
Also our children during the holidays have juice in their champagne glasses. Just because it’s a champagne glass doesn’t mean it’s champagne their drinking.

Just because something is in a champagne or wine glass, doesn’t mean that it is alcohol. It could be filled with juice or ginger ale, and she may be doing it to throw people off.

i agree, tho her rationale would more likely be just b/c she likes the way she looks with a champagne glass in her hand… i don’t actually think she’s trying to throw people off, she’s just holding her breath hoping nothing goes wrong.

plenty of people. particularly europeans. more particularly, eastern europeans. many of them think it’s okay in the final trimester. i didn’t do it, but know plenty of decent people that had 1/2 a glass of wine on a special occasion at the end of their pregnancy.

My mom drank beer… and Im not deformed or retarded or anything. Ofc she didnt drink every single day, neither drank like three glasses of beer by day. But that she did, she did… and what about all the women who use vinegar in their salads?… do they remember it has alcohol?.

i think you are right …..she is fat and not pregnant …I feel sorry for her to hide under that pregnancy-story for month, she is an alcoholic thats the real problem, Nick what are you doing??????
