Exclusive: Melissa Rycroft Tells Us She Doesn’t Want Parenting Tips From Her ‘Bachelor’ Ex, Jason Mesnick
After getting dumped by Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor last year, Melissa Rycroft rekindled a romance with her old flame, Tye Strickland. Now they’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child and Melissa tells HollyBaby.com that she’ll never ask her ex-fiance for parenting advice.
After a rough year, Melissa Rycroft is finally in a great place in her life. In early 2009, Jason Mesnick called off their engagement, after proposing to her on the final episode of The Bachelor, because he was in love with the runner-up Molly Malaney, whom he married earlier this year. Apparently everything does happen for a reason, because shortly after finding herself back on the market, Melissa reunited with her ex-boyfriend Tye Strickland. She and the Dallas businessman married in December 2009 and now they’re super-stoked to have a baby on the way. While plenty of people have been offering up tons of baby advice, there is one person, the first-time parents will never turn to for answers.
