While on the red carpet for The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Premiere Party Oct. 11, I got to talk to all the ladies and I am convinced housewife Kim Richards is just the right amount of crazy to make this show AWESOME!
The Real Housewives franchise is NOT the first thing I turn to when I look through my cable listings or DVR, but it seems like that is all going to change, especially after hanging out with the ladies of Beverly Hills last night on their red carpet premiere party. Things got interesting the closer Paris and Nicky Hilton‘s former child actress aunt, Kim Richards, entered my area since she certainly put the PARTY in the premiere. The seemingly tipsy 46-year-old reminded me of an older (nicer) Lindsay Lohan — and I dropped some major LOLs over some of her on-carpet behavior.
When Kim asked, “Is that pizza?” when she saw a white box filled with guest names at check-in and it was possibly the best line of the night. This almost made her sister, Kathy Hilton, have a heart attack of embarrassment as she motioned her husband Rick Hilton to, “Get Kim inside.” Rick came and embraced Kim, whispered in her ear and she proceeded to stumble to the car.
If we’ll be seeing similar behavior on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, count me in! It was so entertaining. I thought that when you were involved in the Hilton family, you had to be stuck up and no fun, but let’s just say, Kim Richards’ days a a child actress are going to turn into a supernova of awesomeness.
To be honest, she seems to be the girl you knew in high school who was the life of the party — and then went on to win the lottery — and is STILL wild, but now has money, so she had to hide it (albeit not well).
I think the show — which debuts Oct. 14 on Bravo and also stars socialites Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer, Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof — looks like it will be a staple in the Bravo lineup for a long time to come. It’s borderline scary how much I am looking forward too it!

It seems to me that her sister, Kyle, is disgusted with her. Is Kim retarded?

WHAT?? Life of the party?? That was not my perception of her AT ALL. ALL of the ladies seemed like life of the party, party girls BUT her!!
She seems almost mentally challenged and maybe even physically (weird movements/expressions and voice). She reminds me of one of those people who are anxiety ridden and have panic attacks at the drop of the hat and say completely inappropriate, off topic, out of left field comments where you can here crickets chirp after they are made. I am very interested to see how it plays out, but life of the party is not what I imagine from Kim- crazy, shut in that always has problems, is a martyr and burden to all who care about her in order to get attention and her way is what I am expecting from Kim. FUN!!
