Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s big day is rapidly approaching…and a new report says they are getting married in the same resort where Russell proposed! How romantic!
The most anticipated wedding of the year is almost here — and after hearing all the latest details, we know it’s not going to disappoint! A new report says Katy Perry and Russell Brand will be tying the knot in India next week (possibly Tuesday) at Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, the same lush resort where Russell, 35, proposed to Katy, 25, nearly one year ago over New Year’s weekend.
According to E!, “Processionals start at the gate of the hotel with the bridegroom sitting on a beautifully decorated horse that is escorted by camels and elephants. Folk dancers then welcome the couple with a traditional routine, fireworks and a special buggi (horse-driven cart) ushering them into the main garden for the wedding.”
As we reported, the couples’ friends (like Rihanna and boyfriend Matt Kemp) received an extravagant “Save the Date” card in May telling guests to plan to spend Oct. 18-25 celebrating the joyous union. Sounds like a blast to us — we’d love a star-filled trip to India!
