You are most likely a straight woman or a gay man. Therefore your opinion of her chest in that dress is meaningless as breasts are not something you are wired to be interested in. So of course you would find plenty of breasts to be unappealing to you.

Also, you must have missed my post that was done before yours. Many women that “feel fat” are just reacting to the agenda being pushed by the fashion industry which the mainstream media parrots. Many people don’t know what a healthy women looks like anymore and most women you see in mainstream media that are advertised as attractive are actually underweight.

Her reaction isn’t a healthy one, it’s one out of not being strong in character. Conforming to something that isn’t healthy just because there are those that say so. The woman will be underweight losing 35 pounds but will be celebrated by the media and rewarded for it which will only reinforce the whole distortion that has taken place on women.

Peter’s statement isn’t off the mark. Gay men are not attracted to feminine figures. Neither are straight women. The reason there is so much obsession with underweight women (which the majority of mainstream Hollywood actresses and models are) is because of the grand influence of the fashion industry in pop culture and mainstream media. And the fashion industry is dominated by mostly gay men. Christina Hendrick’s figure is considered more attractive to straight men than what the industry shoves down everyone’s throats.

Hendricks is totally healthy and the reason all the big deal was being made about her was because the majority of her female colleagues are underweight. Instead of understanding this, she fell victim to the distortion of thinking she is fat when in reality she isn’t and now will conform to the sickness that you can thank the fashion industry for.

And for anyone who thinks she is “doing it for herself” she isn’t. Notice what the news says. “Christina has got sick of all the talk of her being the curviest woman in Hollywood. For her it basically meant she was being called fat.” That’s not doing it “for yourself”. That’s doing it because of what other people say and what you perceive that to be.

Imagine someone being made fun of because of their dark skin color. Instead of understanding that those people are brainwashed bigots they take it to heart and decide to get skin bleaching products just so people won’t make say anything anymore. That isn’t “doing it for yourself”.

This is incredibly disappointing news. She was about the only woman in Hollywood I actually found attractive. Not only because of her body but because I thought she was a strong woman who stood head and shoulders above the unhealthy and misguided pressure for females to be underweight. That fact that she wasn’t so and became so successful lead me to think that here was a women that was not just displaying so much beauty, but so much strength in character as well. That kind of combination I find to be hot and was what I saw Hendricks to be.

I guess I was wrong.
