New Dad Robin Thicke Says Fatherhood ‘Changes Everything’! Do You Agree?
The singer clearly loves being a new dad and is really happy there isn’t yet any reason to discipline his infant son. Don’t worry, Robin, that time will come — sooner than you realize!
Robin Thicke can croon with the best of them, but these days, he’s doing most of his crooning about fatherhood. At the grand opening of the Hard Rock Hollywood on Oct. 21, Robin, 32, told Hollybaby.com exclusively what it’s like being a new dad to his 6-month-old son, Julian Fuego. “It changes everything!” he told us. “It changes your heart, your intentions, your desires and your reality — all for the better.”

Robin’s wife, Paula Patton, 34, is in Europe filming Mission: Impossible 4 with Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, which leaves Robin a single parent, at least temporarily. Is he more or less strict than his wife? “Well, it’s really hard to be strict with a 6-month-old! You don’t really tell them anything NOT to do. What are you going to do? Slap his hand when he eats a piece of fruit?” he said with a laugh. “Yeah, there’s no strictness going on yet, but when he starts making trouble…”
