Taylor Momsen shocked everyone when she flashed the crowd at her Pretty Reckless concert at NYC’s Don Hill’s club,Oct. 21, and HollywoodLife.com was there in the audience of about 65 fans! But, we can now also reveal that Taylor’s mom, Colette Momsen was also in attendance! Not only did Taylor don stripper heels, and a necklace that read “Slave,” at the PAPER Magazine & Express Celebrate “Rock The Sidewalk” event, her mom seemed to be totally fine with her 17-year-old daughter’s performance!
We spoke to Beverly Hills psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman, to discuss why Taylor’s mother would tacitly allow such over sexualization of her underage daughter.
“[Her behavior] could be directed towards her stage mom, who is obviously egging her on in order to vicariously enjoy her fame,” believes Dr. Lieberman. “Taylor is following in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears whose moms are actively working on making them superstars, regardless of whether they self-destruct in the process.”

Taylor Momsen barely flashed her boobs at all, the majority of the boobs themselves were covered by duct tape of some sort. I personally believe the media are over reacting. Taylor Momsen is a rebellious 17 year old, everybody knows and understands this. She’s a teenager, all teens her age do crazy and silly things, but because she’s somewhat famous the media has to have complete idiotic rant over it. I find it an insult how the majority of the media itself keeps constantly comparing Taylor to Miley, Brittany and Lindsey, they are nothing alike at all. Brittany is bonkers, Lindsey is a drunk and Miley is just your average teen star. I see no resemblance in how Taylor is following in their foot steps.

UGH! Why does HWL have to put Taylor and Miley in the same cat on purpose?! AND FYI, Miley has not crashed and burned like Lohan did. Niether did Britney because her career is still STRONG and GOING. Bonnie, you and your “expert” are like some horror story straight out of the middle ages. You just can’t seem to accept a young woman embrassing her sensuality and expressing it through her art. But, hey, that’s rock and roll. Have you competely missed the last sixty years of entertainment? Elvis was doing the same thing, selling his sexuality on stage, in the 1950s. Taylor Momsen is going a brave thing, pursuing the kind of music she enjoys, even though she could be making a lot more money by doing what most of her contemporaries are doing, pop music.

I believe Taylor’s mom can control her, she just loosens the leash a little, so her daughter can express herself….I don’t think she will self destruct for the simple reason she doesn’t do coke nor drink like a certain celeb!

The celeb you are referring to was being all “clean cut” when she was 17 year old.
Pretty sure Momsen does drink, and if she hasn’t experimented with cocaine, she probably will sometime in the future.
