The damage Charlie Sheen inflicted on his hotel room at the Plaza was worse than you’ve heard! A hotel source tells us it was $20,000 — chairs and tables everywhere — and across the hall from the Eloise Suite where Denise Richards and his daughters were staying!

It looks like Charlie Sheen is at it again! Police were called to the Plaza Hotel in NYC shortly after 2 am on Oct. 26 after the Two and a Half Men star trashed his hotel room following a night of partying! Even worse, he was in the city with his two young daughters, Lola and Sam.

Charlie, who was throwing chair and tables and had damaged the room’s chandelier, was completely naked and with an unidentified and naked female escort when the police arrived. We’ve learned that it was a guest below Charlie’s room who called the hotel to complain of the incident.

The actor was apparently in a rage over a lost wallet that he believed the escort may have taken from him. He was taken to the hospital where he was accompanied by ex wife Denise Richards, who was staying in a separate room at the hotel.

Reports say Charlie was doing cocaine with the escort but his publicist released a statement saying, “What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital.”

Charlie was in one of the Plaza’s famed suites which cost a cool $1,000 a night. His daughters and Denise were staying in the Eloise Suite across the hall, known for its fun and girlish decor.

“Charlie broke the massively expensive chandelier in the room,” a source told Life & Style about some of his total $7,000-worth of hotel damages. “Glass was everywhere and he tried to sweep it under the bed. There was blood on the carpet, presumably from scrapes and cuts as he was trying to clean it up.”

The 45-year-old actor has had a of slew incidents this year, beginning with his now infamous Christmas brawl with former wife Brooke Mueller on Dec. 25 of 2009.

Charlie’s ex-wife, Denise Richards, with whom he has two little girls, said their daughters don’t know about their father’s wild ways.

“They have no idea what happened & thank God, they are young enough. They are five and six, so I can protect them,” Denise said Oct. 26. “They went shopping; they went to the zoo. This is their first trip to New York.”
