Good for you — RiRi says she has moved on from her abusive ex Chris Brown!
So much for Rihanna, 22, “banning sequins” from her life! In the December issue of Marie Claire UK, RiRi struts her stuff in a glittering Mark Fast dress and sparkly Solange Azagury-Partridge earrings as she opens up about the day she realized she was totally over her abusive ex-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown, 21. “Eventually, I remember waking up one day and I knew I was over it,” Rihanna says. “One day. I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it.”
“I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that’s what God was giving to me,” Rihanna goes on to say. “All this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down. [But] once you’re back on your feet — if you ever make it back on your feet — that’s the ultimate achievement.”
Now RiRi is back, rocking a hot new look (and flaming red hair), and she’s doesn’t give a single thought to her past relationship. “I feel like I smile for real this time,” she explains. ‘The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it’s pure bliss and not just a cover up.”
