A family insider tells HollywoodLife.com the 17-year-old starlet has been struggling with her parents’ breakup and is leaning on her BF, Liam Hemsworth, for stability
Miley Cyrus has been the pillar in her close-knit family for some time — and it’s finally starting to take its toll. An insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively the 17-year-old Disney star was so devastated by her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus‘ pending divorce that she got back together with her ex-boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, because she craved support and “normalcy.”
“Miley knew about the divorce awhile ago and she’s been taking it really hard. Pretty much at the same time, she broke up with Liam, Hannah Montana was ending and then her parents’ marriage was falling apart,” Miley’s friend says.
“She got super stressed out and that’s really when she started acting out more. She got back together with Liam because she wanted some normalcy and structure. Plus, her parents really like him too and so she’s trying to make it work. She’s just doing the best she can.”
Miley met and fell in love with Liam, 20, on the set of their film, The Last Song, in the summer of 2009. After dating seriously for a little more than a year, the couple parted ways for a few months — but got back together in Sept. and have been going strong since.

“An insider” told you this right? Who is this “insider”? Miley’s PR? Her PA? Someone she met a few days ago? The pizza delivery boy from last weekend? Or maybe you just made it all up? Who knows with Bonnie and her gang of hacks?

Dear Bonnie, there you go again!!! As others here have asked, “What business is it of yours?” As always, you base your stories on obvious fabrications and then you go for the jugular. Especially in this time when the Cyrus family obviously wants to work out their normal family difficulties in private, you try to stir things up with false claims. And, you had to throw in some lies about Miley Cyrus “acting out.” When did she act out? I am not aware of anything she’s done that’s illegal. She’s not into drugs and alcohol like most kids her age are. She’s uncommonly polite to people in public, even when they don’t deserve it. About the only thing I’ve ever seen you jumping on her about is the way she dresses, which is pretty much the way I see most other 17-year olds dress, and there’s nothing wrong with it. THAT’S NOT ACTING OUT!!! If anyone is “acting out,” it’s you, Bonnie, because one thing that’s wrong whether you’re an adult or a teenager is public slander with malice. You can get away with that because Miley, Billy Ray and Trish Cyrus are public figures, but that doesn’t make it right. My advice to you, Bonnie, is to give up on all your public hate and lies and start acting right toward the people you cover.
