Taylor Swift Wants To Get Married And Have Babies — Just Not Right Now!
Taylor Swift, 20, has just started dating Jake Gyllenhaal, but she says she wants to follow in her mom’s footsteps and wait a while before starting a family.
Taylor Swift has no intention of of following in the footsteps of fellow singers Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood and rushing down the aisle. ”There’s definitely wedding fever right now!” she says. “I think it’s wonderful if you know you’ve found the one.” Sure, she’s recently been linked to Hollywood hottie Jake Gyllenhaal, but that doesn’t mean she wants to become a bride — or a mom — anytime soon.
“I’m not opposed to it. I just don’t think about it!,” the 20-year-old told Us about getting married. ”I don’t focus on pining away for love, because I’m focused on being happy with what’s happening right now.”

And what’s making her smile these days is the release of her third album Speak Now. In fact, that’s the only baby she has time for right now. “Let’s say I’m 30 and still touring: I wouldn’t want to have a family, because I couldn’t balance it. But I really have no idea about the future. It’s so unexpected. Trust me!” says the singer, who hopes to follow in her mother’s footsteps and wait until a little later in life to have babies.
