I know I say this every week, but the Oct. 28 episode of The Vampire Diaries was the best thing I’ve ever watched on television.
Speaking of things that happen every week, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) broke up for realz this time, even though Damon (Ian Somerhalder) was able to return Katherine to the tomb. Oh, yeah, that’s right. They didn’t kill Katherine; they’ve decided to go with torture, and I’m totally pleased by that. I once said Caroline (Candice Accola) has been my favorite character this season, but I think I may have to change my answer to Katherine. She’s absolutely bats**t crazy and totally unpredictable.
