Joe Jonas’ girlfriend takes to twitter with a statement that talks bullying and freedom of speech. Is she slamming Demi, speaking out about mean media reports — or is it totally random?
With every Demi Lovato story out there, an Ashley Greene mention is almost guaranteed — most notably, Demi, 18, lashing out at Ashley, 23, at the airport in a very public meltdown. And while the rumors and speculations continue to spread like wildfire, Ashley retweeted a very interesting statement made by what looks to be a friend of the Twilight actress.
First, Ashley tweeted at her friend @MaryKayLove: “Get it girl. Very true.” Moments later, Ashley retweeted @MaryKayLove’s statement, which read:
“You can call it “freedom of speech”, “expressing your opinion” or what ever bullsh*t thing you tell yourself to sleep at night..in the end..your a bully. And karma is a bitch.”
Yikes. While we can’t be certain who or what Ashley and her friend are referring to, it’s safe to say that those tweets will cause some backlash, especially from Demi supporters. It is interesting timing, and the use of the word “bully” is highly controversial, especially among the claims that Demi is still overcoming bullying issues. Ashley could also be fed up with all the media reports saying her constant presence on tour with boyfriend Joe, 21, led to Demi’s rehab visit. Of course, we’re just here to speculate. We’ll leave it up to you guys to decide what’s going on here.

Bonnie asks, “Was Ashley’s tweets in poor taste?” We have absolutely no way of knowing because, like almost all “tweets”, it lacks all of the context one would need to know what Ashley Greene is talking about, so yes, you can only engage in wild speculation. That said, one thing we know for sure is that it was in very very poor taste for Ms. Greene to go on a tour with her new insensitive boyfriend Joe when she knew that Demi Lovato was contractually obligated to be on the tour as well. However, Greene was not a friend of Ms. Lovato’s, so maybe we shouldn’t have expected her to be sensitive. Joe Jonas, on the other hand, says he’s a friend of Ms. Lovato’s, but he sure didn’t act like it. The real jerk her was Jonas!

Actually, I think she was DEFENDING Demi. Demi was bullied and had a meltdown (at least partially) because of it. I think Ashlee was saying that bullies like the ones who bullied her will end up with bad karma.

Just because Joe didn’t feel the same way about Demi as she did for him does not make him a bad person. Just so you know people date so they can find the person they can build a life with. Would you spend the rest of your life with someone you didn’t Love? Eveyone get their heart broken it part of life. Demi has problems & to blame Joe is not only wrong but not true. Grow up Joe is happy with Ashley and he has every right to be with her where ever hre wants to be. demi has had problems for years and maybe she should have said NO to the tour if she couldnt handel being around Joe.
