The Jonas brother’s dad, Paul Jonas, sent Demi home after the singer’s public airport meltdown!

It looks like Demi’s recent downward spiral that led to rehab was a very public one, with many witnesses…including her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas‘ new girlfriend, Ashley Greene. Ouch. Talk about adding insult to injury! And it wasn’t just a verbal meltdown in the airport.

E! Online is reporting that Demi Lovato, 18, got into a “physical altercation” with a backup dancer while the Camp Rock 2 tour was stopped in Peru over the weekend.

“She just lost it right at the airport in front of everyone,” the source said. “The [Jonases'] dad basically said right there, ‘That’s it. You’re going home.’ ”

A source close to Demi tells HollywoodLife.com, “she’s not going to go back on this tour [with the Jonas Brothers]. She has a long history of battling with eating disorders and cutting. She was bullied all throughout school and has struggled with these longtime issues for years. She hasn’t checked into rehab but she’s seeking treatment.”

Ashley, 23, has been ever present on the Jonas Brothers tour, and the airport incident was no exception. Demi reportedly made verbal threats to Joe Jonas’ new leading lady. The 21-year-old middle Jo Bro apparently had more to do with Demi checking into a treatment center than we once thought. Apparently, Demi’s behavior at the airport was the final straw that led to her taking “responsibility” for her actions
