Kate Gosselin Slept While Her Kids Went Trick-Or-Treating. Would You Ever Do That?
Most parents with young kids turn Halloween into a family affair — but not the Gosselins. Kate opted to take a catnap while the kids went trick-or-treating.
Can you believe that Kate Gosselin slept in her minivan while her eight kids (6-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hanna, Aaden, Collin, Leah, Joel and 10-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn) went out trick-or-treating on Halloween? This is just another example of how those kids are lacking parental guidance and missing out on a lot of fun family bonding.

Apparently Kate, 35, was so exhausted from doing whatever it is that she does, she needed to take a nap while the kids went door to door begging for candy from their Wernesville, PA, neighbors. Bodyguard Steve Neild is attached to Kate’s hip these days, so perhaps it’s no surprise that he drove Kate’s clan around in their van while she slept in the front seat! “The kids were told to be quiet so they wouldn’t wake her!” a source tells Us, adding that the kids are “sad all the time.” I don’t know any kids that can keep quiet on Halloween. I wonder if she took all their candy away from them too.
And this isn’t the first time that she squashed their fun. Remember how we told you that she pulled them out of the corn maze as soon as the cameras stopped rolling on her TLC show Kate Plus 8?
A Gosselin sextuplet reportedly got suspended from school for fighting!
Of course, they’re sad. Their mom is way more concerned with her TV career than with their care, and their dad Jon Gosselin admitted via Twitter (of course!) that he was a no show on Halloween also! “I didn’t get to see my kids this weekend,” he tweeted. It’s a shame he missed out on seeing Mady as a cute pirate, Alexis as Cleopatra, Hannah as a sailor, Aaden in his Swat team costume, Collin as a skeleton, Leah as a pretty pink bunny and Joel as a ninja!
These poor kids are being robbed of precious childhood memories all because of their selfish parents. That’s the scariest thing about Halloween. Do you agree?

People are pretty mean to Kate Gosselin, like she has 8 kids! And she’s trying to look after them all by herself, give her a break

guys i think she took the candy away………or at least anything that isn’t organic (halloween=organic?????) you know kate cannot allow any fun time without the cameras [pointed on her she a stupid little witch and needs to get off her lazy butt and bond with her kids….i bet the kids say they love the camera man how long has it beeen since you heard that said to kate. y should jon get the fall!!?? i liked him!!! poperatzi destroys life jon and kates is an example too bad now kate has to destroy her kids life

really poor kids…… they need love and nourishment not camras and spotlight its just wrong that they have more camera time than family time i wish kate would back off of the gotta control everyone problem with ehr kids she is a selfish little witch. i wish maddie would tell her off but i bet she would be afraid

Wow – you people are amazing – the kids are so angry that two of them got expelled from school and all of them have rage issues. Kate opened this pandora’s box when she put her brood on TV – she’s the one responsible for this nightmare, not people commenting the whoring out of her kids for attention and money.

You are a frickin idiot. You are such a minipulater. Making it sound so horrible. I know of at least 20 familys that have their parents do the same thing. Hell my mom even did the same thing!!! You can be sure I’ll never read this website again. Have you ever met them? Have you ever spent a day with them? NO.
Your life is really so dull that you have to go around ruining succsessful poeoples lives?
They’d be happier, and she’d be less tired if poeple LIKE YOU would back off and leave them alone!!!!!!!

BIG DEAL! I don’t like Kate HOWEVER I’m a mom of six so I can understand WHY she took a nap while her kids were out! I went out to dinner with the hubby while our friends took the kids trick o’ treating! Big woopie doo if she took a nap.

this is my first visit to hollybaby and will probably be the last but QUESTION how do you know what kate was doing in the van? did steve or 1 of the kids tell you? question 2: is it normal for a mother in order to be a good mother to hold the hands of her 8 children when they walk to the door to collect? if so i was a real bad mother!! #3 not a question but a statement: steve is needed to protect against not just unknowns but stalkers. AND THE HATERS OF KATE RUSH TO READ YOUR STORIES BECAUSE IT GIVES THEM A RUSH TO HEAR BAD STUFF. GOOD BYE

kg your kids are your kids, that is true. but you have EXPERTS begging you, screaming at you, telling you to STOP with all of the junk and lead a normal life. What the heck are you taking or are you on? You need to snap out of it. Why won’t you listen? Your kids are going to hate you for allowing millions to make fun of them and more fights will happen and more problems. UGH! They can’t escape it! Look at how upset JG got when TB employees shot pics of him and were laughing! That will be your children in no time! What about high school fights? STOP STOP STOP the shows. why is he not home with his family? if they are together, why keep on hiding it? No way is GN best friends with this woman. Yeah what is she busy doing? Staying up nights and googling herself? I’m SURE took the kids candy away and she needed her bodyguard to go trick or treating? Buck up, take care of your kids, and freaking smile, she never smiles, and her kids don’t smile either because she has put the scare of death into their little heads if they smile at the paps? Why does Kate have to always be PERFECT and Jon a JERK? Why don’t you write an article that is TRUTHFUL? What did Jon do with his kids for Halloween? Why does Fugly Ellen Ross and Jon sleep in a BED and the kids sleep on the FLOOR? When will Jon get up off his lazy azz and GET A JOB? If the kids got sick could Jon take them to the DOCTORS? Does Jon go to PTA MEETINGS? I could go on and on and you would still take time and try and find something wrong with Kate who has the kids all the time and has to do all she can to take care of these kids. Jon failed as a MAN, FATHER, and HUSBAND and you still GLORIFY this JERK.

Jon chaperoned the kids field trip this fall. Kate never has. Jon and Kate both have been seen taking the kids to the doctor. Using word like “fugly” does nothing to enhance whatever point you think you’re making. Just shows pettiness and a lack of intelligence and common sense.

Thats right, blame it on the father cause the mother is a lazy too bit for nothing. The woman has no job and tons of help and yet is too tired to stay awake fo one hour so her kids can have fun. She is and always will be a piece of work.

Geez, what mother naps on the one night her kids can go out for maybe an hour or so to have fun. If they are not filming she could care less about her brood. I guess she found a man that will put up with her crap, but I thought he was married with a family of his own. I guess from hanging around her his wife flew the coop. Like the comment about why is she tired, I can’t understand why she would be tired, seems like she has more help than any other mother and yet still can’t manage.
