Here are my picks for the hotties – and the not-so-hotties – from last night’s event!

Last night, television’s hottest stars came out for the TV Guide 2010 Hot List event. Tons of amazing hair and makeup, but some was better than others. Read my picks and let’s see if you agree…

Of course, Lea Michele nailed it. Fabulous hair, pretty smoky eye with long lashes – the girl can almost do no wrong at this point.

Now, to say that Cheryl Burke was a “Worst” is a bit extreme, but two things killed this look: her hair is too flat for her face shape (she needs more lift at the crown) and her blush is too heavy and it extends all the way back to her ears, which is too much underneath all that metallic eyeshadow.

Brandy is really feeling it with the long curled hair, metallic eyeshadow and lips. The length and the soft curls give her a soft look and the appearance of a longer neck.

Amber Riley is so pretty, but the tight curling of her hair toward her jawline accentuates the round shape of her face and makes it look bottom heavy. Had she flipped the curls outward, it would have been more flattering.

I like Jayma Mays‘ sideswept bangs with this soft updo. The makeup is simple but quite lovely. She’s found a red carpet look that works for her.

Conversely, Ashley Benson’s updo is a little too tight (a little lift and texture would have been so pretty!)  She also needs to blend the contour blush color at the inset of her jawline near her ears for a more flawless makeup look.
