Bronx Wentz is following in his parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s talented footsteps! The 2-year-old belts out Alicia Keys and Jay-Z’s hit “Empire State of Mind”! Do your kids have a favorite song?

It looks like Pete and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz are raising a second generation of singers! The couple’s adorable son, Bronx, is already displaying major musical talent and his parents can’t get enough of their family singalongs. “When we sing with our son, it’s the time when my wife and I really collaborate on music,” Pete, 31, tells In Touch.

The family enjoys a fun day in the park

“Music is a big part of our household. We listen to everything from [children's singer] Raffi to Jay-Z — he likes different things,” brags his proud papa. And even though he’s being raised in Los Angeles, I think it’s safe to say that Bronx has a special place in his heart for the Big Apple (he’s also named after one of the city’s boroughs!). “He was just singing Alicia Keys‘ ‘Empire State of Mind,’” says Pete.

Pete stopped saying bad words around Bronx

The 2-year-old’s mommy, Ashlee, 26, can’t get enough of her musically inclined little man. “Being a parent in general just changes you so much,” she says. “It’s the best thing in my life. Same for Pete.”
