Elin is heading west for the holidays, far away from Florida, the site of her tragic Thanksgiving just one year ago!
It is safe to say that after learning of ex-husband Tiger Woods‘ affair with Rachel Uchitel last Thanksgiving, it is one of Elin Nordegren‘s least favorite holidays — and this year she is getting far away from the scene of last year’s drama! OK! is reporting that the Swedish beauty will be heading west to spend the holiday with her brother, Axel rather than stay in Florida.
“This year, she’s had many invitations for Thanksgiving, but you can sure that she won’t be in Windemere, Fla. for obvious reasons,” says a friend. “Her world, as she knew it, ended on Thanksgiving day at her home in Windemere.”
Elin has kept a relatively low profile throughout the past year and with what is certain to be an increased media presence a year after Tiger’s now infamous car accident, it seems like Elin is making the best choice for herself and her children.

I thought she was visiting her brother, Axel, in China-
that would be heading West.

Maybe Elin and her bother will be meeting in California or somewhere on the west coast. I just read that the children will be spending some time with Tiger and his mother in California during the Thanksgiving weekend!

Elin said it best in her interview,” it is better to be alone and happy than in a marriage without trust”. Elin is truly a woman with self-respect and dignity!!! Best to you, Elin, you are a winner!!!

Why do you assume that she is hiding from Tiger? Bonnie, not everything she & Tiger do concerns the other one. Maybe she wants to be away from all the intrusive media that never give them any privacy. Give it a rest.

Wow, you are making a big assumption with your headline arent you? She may just be leaving to spend time with her family not to get away or hide from anyone. It’s more likely if she’s hiding from anyone this holiday it’s the intrusive media and paps hoping to get a good shot to make up yet more stories to go with it to sell more airtime, magazines, etc. She’s not fame chaser and doesnt bait the paps and then pretend to be annoyed by them.

amazing that she and Tiger will BOTH be in California for Thanksgiving. LOLOL She isn’t hiding from anyone. And the kids will still see their Dad for the holidays. What a farce.

Nothing amazing about them both being in California and I hardly think the kids think any of this is a farce. Regardless of the divorce and personal feelings, Tiger and Elin are still parents. It will be good for the kids if they have a chance to see both of their parents. Not that any of this is anyones’ business but their own!
