On stage, on screen and inevitably online, girl-on-girl action was undeniably one of Hollywood’s biggest trends in 2010. Even one of the recently leaked photos of Demi Lovato included a shot of Demi getting close with a female friend! HollywoodLife.com rounded up the 10 most talked-about girl-on-girl moments of the year, and now we want to know: Which one shocked you the most?
Sandra Bullock got the girl-on-girl ball rolling Jan. 15 at the Critics’ Choice Awards – but that was just a wam-up for her kiss with Scarlett Johansson on June 6 at the MTV Video Music Awards. And although no kissing was involved, Sandra and Betty White recreated their little girl-on-girl dance from The Proposal on Aug. 8 during the Teen Choice Awards.
AnnaLynne McCord and her sister Angel shocked beach bums in April with a quick girl-on-girl peck. It really took attention away from the fact that they also swapped bathing suits underwater!
The big screen was also a source of girl-on-girl action this year. Julianne Moore and Annette Bening played a lesbian couple in The Kids Are All Right, Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan shared an intimate moment in Never Let Me Go, and Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman gave us one of the steamiest scenes of the year ever in The Black Swan.
But the queen of girl-on-girl action in 2010 was none other than Miley Cyrus, who spent her 17th year doing everything she could to shock us — including swapping spit with two female dancers on stage. Mission accomplished, Miley!

What Miley did was part of her Choreagraphy and didn’t even involve any kissing. The leaning over her dancer is part of the routine and just because everyone thinks it looks like a kiss, doesn’t make it one.
Besides, if you counted all the times she did it, there wouldn’t just be two events listed.
