Eva Longoria Is Ready To Get Pregnant And Start A Family All On Her Own!
The Desperate Housewives star might be divorcing her basketball player husband, but that doesn’t mean she’s letting the end of her marriage interfere with her motherhood plans.
Just because Eva Longoria’s marriage to San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker has fallen apart, that hasn’t changed her long-term plans to have a real family of her own. The 35-year-old TV star is in divorce proceedings with Tony, 28, but is now telling friends that she’s willing to get pregnant and have a baby on her own, and that she doesn’t need a man to help her raise a child.

A friend of Eva’s tells In Touch Weekly that the Desperate Housewives star still wants children to be a part of her life and that she has said, “It’s part of who I am and what grounds me. I believe I will have a baby one day, and hopefully it will be with an amazing father and husband. But if not, I’ll have a baby on my own.”
Meanwhile, if that isn’t in the cards for the tiny TV star, she hasn’t ruled out adoption, either. “She thinks that being pregnant, and that bonding between mother and child, would be so amazing,” the friend tells the magazine. But still, Eva would also “love to adopt one day, and thinks that adopting is such a heartfelt thing to do. There are so many kids who need homes and someone to love, and Eva has the ability to give a child, or children, that opportunity.”
