2010 was a year for some rather beautiful beauty, especially in the best makeup category. I decided to count down my favorite beauty looks from the year and see which makeup look deserves the Best Makeup Look of 2010. Who will win? That’s up to you. Let’s check out the contenders:
Amanda Seyfried at the Oscars has the three “p” of makeup: perfect, pretty and poreless. The amethyst smoky eye was gorgeous and the pink lip was sheer beauty.
I still cannot get over Taylor Swift’s transformation at the AMAs. The dark lined eye and sexy pink lip looked so sultry with the sleek hairstyle she rocked that night.
Christina Ricci found a look she loved and it was sheer perfection: gorgeous long lashes and one of the most perfect red lip colors to come along in a long time.
Mila Kunis inspired girl crushes from everyone with her sultry red carpet makeup looks. This gorgeous topaz eye with long lashes, a glowing complexion and nudish-pink lip from the Black Swan premiere was perfection.
Having her big moment? Gossip Girl’s Katie Cassidy, whose lush lashes and light-and-pretty makeup look turned quite a few heads on the red carpet this year.
Katy Perry’s golden red carpet moment was one of my favorites all year. The gilded glamorous look was sheer perfection.
And then there was Lady Gaga at the VMAs. The lovely, understated makeup with the defined lashes only punctuated the long white hair and crown of this look. One of her most beautiful of all time in my opinion.
Olivia Wilde’s defined eye makeup only served to frame her makeup moment of the year: those coral lips! Hundreds rushed out to imitate it.
Zoe Saldana rocked it at the Oscars, with a beautiful amethyst eye and gorgeous pink lip to offset her gorgeous gown. Such a beauty!
This photo of Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks highlights her spectacular beauty. The textured updo, winged eye makeup and perfect pink lip was a serious red carpet moment.
