Hey, Eclipse was great! A thoroughly enjoyable, entertaining and gorgeously filmed movie. It does not deserve to be razzed by the Razzies! Don’t you agree?
Were you as surprised that Eclipse was lumped in with such loser film fare as Yogi Bear, Vampires Suck and Jonah Hex as ‘Worst Picture of 2010!’
I’m really perplexed by the Razzie selection team. Eclipse didn’t get slammed by critics – it’s reviews were generally good. The story followed the plot from the bestselling novel closely and the film grossed $693 million worldwide. It was a smashing success with Twilight fans.
That couldn’t be said for any of the other ‘Worst Picture’ nominees. They were either total bombs, Yogi Bear – fan disappointments, Sex And The City 2 or savaged by critics – The Last Airbender.
Clearly the Razzie team all have hearts far colder than any Cullen. They probably would have nominated Romeo & Juliet for worst stage screenplay of 1597!
So Hollywoodlifers, has Eclipse been wrongfully dissed by the Razzies?

i just feel that eclipse was a great movie and i love it but I respect others opinion I seriously do not think the razzie people are right i just believe they wanna get attention

1. If 30% good reviews are GOOD thing for you, then you’re an idiot. Eclipse had so many bad reviews, it’s a miracle you’ve missed them somehow. And it wasn’t only the critics that slammed it, the fans did too. And the random viewers (like me) who fell asleep during it.
2. Did you just compare Twilight with Romeo&Juliet? You’re dumber than i originally thought….

I saw Eclipse and while I found it boring at times it certainly wasn’t the worst movie of the year. Razzie are just targeting a popular pop culture phenomena to get hits to their site and draw attention to their awards.

Um… hello.. hollywood life editors… this was a leaked “Short” list… NOT the nominations! Might be a good idea to revise the editorial on your article & poll to reflect that. As noted in all of the press, the official nominations are out later in Jan!
There’s no guarantee that twilight or Any contender will be nominated.

Eclipse sucked, I couldn’t even get halfway thru it because the acting was terrible, I fell asleep!

You did NOT just compare Twilight to Shakespeare. It’s good in it’s own way, but it can’t touch the classics.
