Taylor was blindsided by her second over-the-phone split — will she EVER find the right man?
She may be America’s sweetheart, but Taylor Swift is still reeling from the heartbreak of Jake Gyllenhaal deciding she wasn’t the one for him.
Friends close to the star tell Us Weekly that Taylor’s pain was most evident at the Jan. 5 People’s Choice Awards.
“She was not her usual bubbly, over-animated self,” the source says. “She didn’t eat anything, seemed very sad and definitely wasn’t having a good time.”
Although the couple only dated for two months, Taylor was taken aback when Jake ended their high-profile romance with a phone call telling her it wasn’t working out.
“Taylor is really upset and hurt,” another friend tells the mag. “She doesn’t know what she did for him to just put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him.”
Previous reports point to Jake’s unease with paparazzi attention and their nine-year age difference as the reasons for their breakup.
If Taylor’s dating history and angry songs about boys are any indication, she’s no stranger to heartbreak.
We hope she finds the right man soon!

i heard she is still in love with John Mayer he even said in an interview if there is an actor to play his life it would be Jake Gyllenhaal because they have the same allure.true they both have soulful eyes and she did it for revange.he got it and left.

Poor girl:( Taylor needs to just take it slow or maybe just stop dating for awhile. Taylor is a wonderful, famous singer and very young to fall in love. She needs to just worry about her career and then later own in life fall in love. She’s only 21.

I truly believe i’ve had enough with her drama! I seriously cant believe that she’s dated so many guys and she always says she loved them! How the freak can she fall in love so many times, i think she should just suck it up and deal with it. She is the one that jumps into relationships plus we all know Jake likes his privacy and she’s not exactly the most appropriate girlfriend to give him that. Ummmm…just because some “actress from new york” wrote something on twitter doesnt mean it’s true. I think they really did date for awhile..just getting to know eachother. but Taylor isnt ready for a long term relationship & jake has said several times he wants to get married & start a family soon so he was smart to break it off before it went too far. He seems like such a nice guy they just werent right for eachother & it wouldnt have worked out anyway. & as for using taylor for her fame…ummm hes famous enough on his own.

They probably break up with her over the phone cause she’s clingy and will bring out the water works if you try to do that in person. My brother dated girls like that and he will try to break up with them nicely in person but it never worked. So he had to go the phone method and end it quickly then go stay at a friend’s house just in case they come to our house looking for him in tears (and they ALWAYS do). Clingy girls are the worst, make us all look bad.

Gossip Cop just confirmed that US weekly overstated Taylor’s feelings. She is doing fine and getting ready for tour. I also lol when I read that there wasn’t any food for Taylor to eat at the awards ceremony. Where people expecting her to eat the carpet? Anyway what “friend” would go to a magazine and state that Taylor was tormented by Jake’s breakup. She looked really happy at the awards show. Jake however went to an event this weekend and looked awful. I wonder if he feels guilty. I would be, if I broke up with someone over the PHONE!

Gossip Cop also said that they were still together and happy two weeks ago (when rumor broke that she wanted to go back with Taylor Lautner) but Jake Gyllenhaal says he broke up with her in December, way before NYE. So I wouldn’t believe anything Gossip Cop says. They are a tabloid like every one else but trying to act like they are the New York Times.

I bet she won’t want to go “back to” this last “December.” I think Jake is better off. She seems like a certified love addict who needs to go slower in her relationships or just not date right now till she gets help dealing with the issue. Meanwhile, Jake will be alone for a while and try and live his private life. Maybe he and Anne can give it a go. They’ve already been to first base.

A day before the story broke that Jake and Taylor had broken up, an actress who is based in New York knew about the breakup and said that Jake had used Taylor and dumped her because he didn’t need her anymore. She also referred to Jake as a douchbag. Apparently Taylor had no idea that he had used her.

Cory has said in the past that he and Taylor never dated. They were just friends. However I think Cory Montieth and Taylor would be adorable. They hung out at the People’s choice awards and Cory was present at the Covergirl Party afterward. Personally I think Taylor should take a step back and not date anyone for a while and enjoy life. She is about to go and travel to some awesome places for her tour and who knows she might find love down the road but not right now. She should also not write songs about her love life. Some things should not be let out to the world to know.

She is in love with love and very NEEDY. She only dated Joe JOnas for 4 months but cried over him like they were married or something. She only dated the other guys (Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal) for about 2 months also but acts like they killed her heart in her songs. The girl needs to get a hobby and stop being so boy crazy. Stay single for a while, get to know yourself Taylor.
