The modern day high school musical snags more awards than any other television show including ‘Best Comedy!’
It looks like everyone still loves Glee — especially the HFPA! The Fox musical brought home three awards at the Golden Globe Awards, including “Best Comedy or Musical,” beating out shows such as 30 Rock and Modern Family. That’s not all either as two cast members went home with awards! Chris Colfer won “Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television” and Jane Lynch scored the same award in the actress category!
Sadly, Glee‘s leads Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison lost out to Laura Linney and Jim Parsons respectively in their categories.
So HollywoodLifers, were you excited to see Glee rule or do you think it’s time another show got some major attention?

Personally, I was really glad that Lea Michele didn’t win the Golden Globe award. From what I’ve seen, she thinks she’s some big star now just because she’s on a successful tv show, but in reality, her character Rachel Berry is annoying and in real life she seems to be everywhere. And the crying when Chris won his award was really a bit much. This loss of a Golden Globe should let her know that she’s not as special as she thinks she is.
