Awards season is in full swing and this Sunday is the next installment of the red carpet penant race: the Screen Actors Guild Awards! Last year showed some spectacular beauties working some timeless, glamorous looks that are still relevant even today. Let’s look at the Best Red Carpet Beauty Looks from last year, shall we?

First, there was Lea Michele, working a very sultry red carpet look. Flowing curls, sultry eyes with long lashes, a defined peach cheek and pretty nude-pink lip. This look set the pace for her whole red carpet season last year.

Dianna Agron worked another glamorous retro look with gorgeous, sculpted curls and a makeup look centered around lush lashes, a pink cheek and a beautiful berry-red lip. Outstanding!

Kate Hudson owned the carpet last year with a textured updo and a gorgeous, practically-nude face with long, defined lashes. All the better to show off that gorgeous backless dress and almost $2 million in jewels!

Diane Kruger looked impossibly lovely with a soft updo with a twisted knot at the nape of her neck, glowing skin and a flawless red lip that offset her mustard-colored gown. She’s quite the style icon, that’s for sure.

Marion Cotillard looked absolutely lovely with a twisted side knot updo, metallic blue-green eye makeup with long lashes and a peachy-pink cheek and lip. Unbelievably lovely as per usual.

Drew Barrymore worked a lovely retro look seemingly inspired by her Grey Gardens character. Love the textured, teased updo with glowing makeup, a defined lash line and pretty nude-pink lips. She looked so gorgeous!
