“Little Dezi is the most important thing in my son’s life, and we will do anything to protect him,” Eric’s mother Nairis Calvo tells RadarOnline.com. After spending a night behind bars for her alleged DUI, friends and family are concerned for Jaime, who was released on $15,000 bail. And to make matters even worse, she is being pursued by Internal Revenue Service for $637,000 in unpaid taxes, which is the reason Eric and Nairis are questioning Dezi’s parental situation. We don’t blame them. Right now she doesn’t seem to be the most stable mother.

“Jaime and Eric have always had a nice relationship when it comes to my grandson Dezi, but that could change,” Nairis explains. “My son remains focused on Dezi and everything is good with our family and my grandson. We’re very protective of Dezi and want nothing but the best for that precious boy.” It makes sense that they only want what’s best for the boy, but we really hope that Jaime gets her act together and can continue to be a good mom.

But although the family is struggling to count on Jaime to be a good mother to Dezi, they wish her the best during this tough time in her life. “She’s been through a lot. It’s a tough situation,” Nairis says.
