The Biggest Loser trainer has been very busy since announcing her exit from the weight loss show!
Jillian Michaels wasn’t kidding when she said she was leaving the Biggest Loser to start a family — she’s already in the process of adopting a child from Africa! “I want to start a family,” she tells Access Hollywood. “I’d like to take a year off of television and really focus on – I’m in the middle of the adoption process – and really focus on that and hopefully becoming a mother in the next year and putting all my energy into that for awhile.” Good for her!

The 36-year-old fitness trainer is so thrilled to become a mom, but says adopting a child is an incredible undertaking. “I’ve completed all of my paperwork; I’ve had all my physicals; I’ve been checked by the FBI – you have no idea!” Jillian explains. “Now I wait for a referral. That could be anywhere from six months to a year…then you have to try to bring your kid back home,” she continues. “So, it’s a process… but I’m excited for it!” HollyMoms, have you had experience with adopting? What advice can you give the trainer?

The process might be a bit daunting, but all Jillian cares about is bringing home a baby and starting a family. Boy or girl? “I’m 36! Do you hear the clock? It doesn’t matter!” she laughs. “As long as there’s a little teeny person with me, I’ll be good.” Aww! We’re happy to see people like Jillian adopt and take care of a baby in need.

this is truly sickening. her,sandra, madonna, angelina,bunch of limelighting primadonnas. what about all of the children in this country that want a mother and a home of their own? children are accessories to these brazen bimbos. you should be ashamed of yourself for acting like they are anything but selfish attention seekers.

So glad someone thinks the same way. Adoption is more stringent process in the U.S.A., which a lot of celebs do not like since they are not use to having to wait for anything. There should be an insanely huge tax when you adopt overseas, instead of one of the millions of kids deserving of a good home in here the USA.

WHICH IF SHE HAD NOT ADOPTED HIM HE WOULD BE IN FOSTER CARE AS BLACK BOYS ARE HARDER TO BE PLACED.
YOU COULD GIVE A CHILD HERE A HOME STOP WAITING FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO DO IT.
