If you’ve been struggling to start a family, find hope in Jewel and Ty’s story. Sometimes it just takes time.

Jewel, 36, and her rodeo husband Ty Murray, 41, have been trying to conceive a child since they tied the knot back in 2008. Now, after two years of marriage, their baby dream are finally coming true. “It’s just a miracle,” Ty tells People. “To have achieved our dreams and goals — it’s nice.” Did you struggle with infertility, HollyMoms?

The happy couple is looking forward to meeting their little boy (yes, they know the sex!) and becoming first-time parents. But will Baby Murray be a rodeo riding cowboy like dad or a country singer like mom? Only time will tell! “In Jewel’s profession, one in every 10 million make it, and in my sport, it’s so dangerous,” Ty explains. “The thing we try to remember is that it’s not up to us — it’s up to him. We just want to be good, loving parents, and help him decide what his passions are.”

For now, Ty is gearing up to become a father and luckily he had a great role model growing up! “My dad, to this day, is the biggest influence on my life that I’ve ever had,” he says. “He always led his life as an upstanding man, and that’s my goal — to do that for my kid.”
