Eight-year-old Evan was rushed to hospital on Sunday after suffering a seizure. His mom asks for your prayers!
Evan fell ill Feb. 13, and was whisked to the emergency room by his worried mom Jenny McCarthy – who then kept fans updated on his progress through Twitter.
“Ugh. Evan had a seizure. We r in the ER. He’s doing better. Just laying next to him,” Jenny tweeted. “Could use prayers again right about now.”

Evan’s condition has improved and Jenny, 38, sent this update to her followers the next day: “Up all night. Evan still battling 103.5 fever. Thanks for well wishes. they were nice to read at 3 am. Kept me company. Xxoo.”

It’s not the first time Evan has had a seizure. They’re common among autistic children and a series of episodes when he was 2-years-old led to him to be diagnosed with the disorder.
The latest seizure will raise question marks about Jenny’s claim, back in 2008, that a special diet and regular vitamin shots cured her son of autism. Earlier this year she even suggested Evan may have been misdiagnosed with autism and actually be suffering a rare neurological disorder called Landau-Kleffner syndrome.

Evan’s now recovering after his latest battle, with the help of his doting mom and his favorite movie! Jenny’s latest tweet reads, “Watching wall-e with Evan… wishing I had a laser beam arm. would totally use it during PMS.”

Uh, yea like we ALL knew this for like the past years that Jenny McCarthy’s son most likely NEVER had autism. ALL you have to do is do a background investigation into her claims and see what really happened. He was never autistic. He had seizures. He regressed. He was given seizure medicine. He got better. End of story. Not autism. More like Landau Kleffner Syndrome. HELLLLOOOOOOO. It’s time for JENNY to come out and admit this so she stops misleading people about what REAL autism is.

God bless Ms. McCarthy and her son, but please don’t confuse autism with landau kleffner syndrome. Her son never had autism. He has Landau kleffner syndrome. Be educated. Nevertheless, we wish her and son well and healing. But realy, it’s getting old to see media and blogs still saying her son is autistic. Please be informed. It’s already been established he was misdiagnosed with autism.
