Paris and Kim have had an open feud for years. But could the two starlets finally be putting the past behind them and moving on?

Are Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian on track to rekindling their friendship? Paris, who turns 30 today, approached her ex-bestie on Feb. 13 at Interscope’s Grammys after party to try and bury the hatchet. “Paris came up to her and apologized, and said she didn’t want to fight,” a source tells Us magazine.

“Paris said she was happy for Kim’s success despite what reports have said,” the source adds. “Kim was sweet and accepted her apology.”

On Feb. 15, Paris’ reps confirmed to E! that Paris did in fact attempt to mend things with Kim, 30, at the party. She “wanted to take the high road” and be the first to say sorry, a Paris insider reveals.

According to E!’s party source, “Paris went up to Kim and asked to talk.” The interaction lasted for about 30 seconds. And though Kim remained cordial with Paris, the source notes that it looked like she “just wanted her to get out of there.”

Could Paris just be trying to be a better person now that she’s 30, or does she truly want her best friend back?

Either way, it’s no secret that Paris has been jealous of Kim‘s success over the past few years. After all, she was the first to introduce Kimmy to the Hollywood party scene.
