The cake alone cost $2,100! What ever happened to the days of Chuck E. Cheese and backyard barbecues?
Eat your heart out, Suri Cruise! Last night, Feb. 21, TLC premiered it’s latest reality show, Outrageous Kid Parties and we must say, it was pretty entertaining. Watching a mom drop $32,000 on a 6-year-old’s birthday party without her husband knowing? That’s pretty ridiculous, and outrageous, to us!

Nicole, a 45-year-old mother of 5-year-old Gracie, decides to throw an out-of-this-world birthday party for her daughter’s upcoming milestone birthday. (Yes, turning six is a HUGE deal). At first her budget is a whopping $15,000, which is enough to save a small nation, but nope. It wasn’t good enough for her spoiled soon-to-be six-year-old. Gracie “wanted the best,” Nicole tells her party planners, “and that’s what she’ll get.”

Nicole also tells party planners to lie to her husband Jason about the cost of the party and asks them to make two different invoices — one for him and the other for her. What a wonderful relationship they have!
Nicole then precedes to spend an absurd amount of money on a princess-themed gathering, complete with a Cinderella pumpkin coach for Gracie’s arrival, a glamorous princess gown, and a $2,100 nine-tier birthday cake. Did the cake look and taste as good as it costs? Gracie didn’t think so. Due to the fact that the bird on the delicious creation was purple instead of blue, she hated it.
Come on, Tom & Katie, ditch Suri’s bottle — she’s almost 5!
I must say though, the highlight of my night was watching Jason dress up in a full-on king’s outfit, including a wig, not knowing just how much cash his wife dropped on his little girl’s celebration. And their poor teenage son Parker was given a mere $100 to dress up and hand deliver invitations for his spoiled sister. Hmm, guess he didn’t get a $32,000 sixth birthday party. Poor Parker…

i think its absurd to spend that amount of money for a bday party on a child so young…shes not really gonna remember it…and there can be better things spent w/that money….how about putting it into a trust fund for her college in the future instead????….that would have been a much better deal…and to top it off the child was acting so spoiled…that mom is gonna have her hands full if she dont stop letting her daughter act like that and start discipling her when she does act up….
