Oscar producer Bruce Cohen says they have a surprise planned for Twilight fans, is it Rob and Kristen presenting, a Breaking Dawn trailer, or just a disappointing spoof?
The Oscars are only two days away and there’s still no confirmation that Robert Pattinson will be presenting at the Oscars, despite being listed on IMDB. It’s been reported that Kristen Stewart probably won’t be attending. But now an Oscar producer says there will definitely be a Twilight-related surprise on Sunday!
“For all of you Twi-hards out there we have a little surprise for you on our show Sunday night,” says Bruce Cohen. ”If you like those three films: watch the Oscars!”
That’s all Bruce had to say on the matter, but E! Online reports there is a “slight chance” Rob might be able to make it, if the filming schedule for Breaking Dawn allows him a break. With everything up in the air, we wouldn’t be surprised if Rob AND Kristen both attended the Oscars, and maybe even presented together!
Do YOU think that is likely? Or do you think it could be a Breaking Dawn trailer, which would be just as exciting. Or, as fans are wondering, does this just mean the Oscars are going to spoof Twilight and this is all an evil ploy to get more viewers?

A producer has already confirmed to Ryan Seacrest that neither Rob, Taylor or Kristen will be attending. He did say that there was going to be a ‘suprise’.

Reese Witherspoon will be there and so it would make sense for Rob to be at the Oscars, too, since their movie “Water for Elephants” is going to be released in theatres for April. I believe Rob and Reese will probably present together and maybe they might mention how the Breaking Dawn filming is going or something slight like that.

According to imdb.com, rob will be a presenter. Not too sure about kristen, didnt have anything about her presenting at the oscars. But it def looks as if rob is scheduled to be there!

I read on Stephenie Meyer’s web site some time ago that she was actually going to write “Midnight Sun.” This was back in 2008 but the announcement did specify that there was no definite time line. For those people who have been hibernating or for new fans who may not know, Midnight Sun was the book that told the story of Twilight from Edward’s point of view. A manuscript wsa leaked on-line of what SM had written to that point and everything stopped. brother, The web site is run by Stephenie’s brother, Seth, so there is a good possibility that what’s on there is legit. I wonder if the Twilight surprise has something to do with Midnight Sun? Of course, the “leaks” that no cast will be there could be a “decoy announcement” and Rob and Kristen will be there after all. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’ll be good.

I saw an interview with Franco where he said he wanted to do something involving Twilight….I think it had to do with Robert…so lets wait and see…I will be watching anyway…I just hope it is not stupid!!

I’m a little skeptical. I think they’ll do a little montage of films that includes the Twilight Saga, that’s it.

The producer, and even Ryan Seacrest updated today that none of the cast will be there. Also that there will not be a preview or clip.
I mean what else could it be?
1. They do a stupid skit.
2. They do a recording of the cast saying hello.
3. They give them some kind of honor.
I THINK THIS IS A WAY FOR THE OSCARS TO GET MILLIONS MORE PEOPLE TO WATCH. Hitting up the large Twilight fan base!

Rob and Kristen will not be attending. Rob’s parents are in Vancouver and they will be spending three days with Rob and Kristen. I read it in a reliable source.

Ryan Seacrest said right before the show started that if you are a fan of Twilight, there is a special music performance that relates to Twilight. Not sure who he said it was but that it was some sort of musical performance by a group related to Twilight. I’d love if some of the actors showed up as a surprise but highly doubt that with their busy schedule. Hopefully the performance is good at least and worth it.
