While everyone was wondering how James Franco and Anne Hathaway would do while hosting the Academy Awards, I couldn’t wait to see the slew of stylish dresses Anne would show off throughout the night! Considering Anne turned up in looks from the likes of Givenchy, Lanvin, and Valentino, the star and her stylist, Rachel Zoe, didn’t disappoint when it came to incorporating variety — although I was expecting so much more from the star!
Usually when Anne turns up on the red carpet she breathes life into a gown with her killer confidence, but last night I thought the majority of the dresses were just hanging on her frame. The dresses weren’t cohesive and I don’t think they did anything for the striking star!
While I thought her blue Armani Prive look was breathtaking and I liked the red Valentino she wore to the afterparty, those were the only dresses that showed me a glimpse of stylish and confident Anne.

really none of them were that interesting. Considering the platform rachel zoe puts her self on, i was expected to be wowed. These were all ho-hum boring dresses. SNOOZE!

The sexy dress Anne wore to the after party was NOT Valentino. It was Versace.

franco was a dud and looked tired, uninterested and bored with the whole thing; hathaway was animated and phony with her overcompensation for franco’s inadequacies. this was the worst oscar award ceremony i have ever watched. please bring back the real comedians to hold our interest.

The Givenchy dress was AMAZING. the combination of hard and soft was amazing on her. and the white made her hair and makeup POP.
