Breaking News -- Christina Aguilera Arrested In West Hollywood For Public Intoxication. So Sad!

The singer’s downward spiral continues as she is booked in West Hollywood!

Christina Aguilera was arrested in the early morning hours of March 1 in West Hollywood and booked on a misdemeanor along with boyfriend Matthew Rutler. TMZ reports, “Christina was popped for public intoxication and her boyfriend was arrested for driving under the influence.” Oh no.

A source told the site, “If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble.”

According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Matthew’s bail was set at $30,000. The site reports he was pulled over after he was spotted driving erratically.

Christina and Matthew, who was a PA on the set of her flick Burlesque, first stepped out as a couple in November in 2010 — just weeks after Christina’s announced her split from hubby Jordan Bratman. At 25, Matthew is 5 years younger than new sugar mama Christina.

Christina’s new wild behavior and drinking has been reported for a few months now, with rumors that attempts by her team to get her into rehab were shot down. Maybe this latest incident will help the troubled singer.

It’s frightening that someone with her immense talent could have such a string of “faux pas”, but I think she’s just going through a rough time in her life. And, just like most of us, she’s found someone to help her take her mind off of her divorce. Is she partying a bit too hard? Probably…but many of us do that when we’re going through tough emotional times. I know she would never read this garbage, but I sincerely hope she gets through it quickly and gets back to making some of the most amazing music ever put down. Christina’s one of the greatest voices ever! But she’s also human. Cut her some slack!

Her recent public behavior will not erase her botched national anthem performance at the Super Bowl and her slip
at the Grammys. These are 2 major spectacles nobody wants to mess up. Her actions are telltale signs of a great singer who is on the decline. People whisper and their silence are telling her…it is time.

If he was arrested for drunken driving and she was just the passenger in the vehicle, what is public about that,did she resist in some way or make a Mel Gibson type of scene out of the incident, how does his arrest justify her arrest, By the way if they just started dating in November how is this part of a long downward spiral? This story is just celebrity bashing…she was not driving drunk and there was no reason for her arrest. The story goes on to say if he had not been driving she would not have been arrested. That makes no sense but it’s the kind of story that sells people on the crazy out of control celebrity.

LOL – what you could not afford a driver? or you just didn’t want any witnesses to the bad behavior? Either way its a dumb mistake on both their parts.

Maybe a Lindsay Lohan in the making? I can’t say that i’m all that surprised when it comes to Christina Aguilera since she has never impressed me in any way. Maybe those to get to share jail cell?

ONE incident isn’t enough to call her a Lindsay Lohan in the making. Everybody makes mistakes. And compared to most of today’s pop stars, Christina Aguilera is very talented.

Ever since hooking up with the nobody boyfriend, she’s been on one long downward spiral. She sould just ditch this loser, go back to hubby, sober up, stay away from movie scripts, and make a more cohevise album.
