Bret Michaels thinks his accident on the 2009 Tony Awards directly correlated with his brain hemorrhage last year and he wants justice!
Although it was originally thought Bret Michael‘s brain hemorrhage had nothing to do with his collision while on stage during the 2009 Tony Awards, the 48-year-old rocker is now claiming otherwise and is seeking retribution for the accident.
TMZ is reporting Bret is suing Tony Award Productions, CBS and others for failing to explain to him how to exit the stage properly during the show, which led to him whacking his head against a piece of the set so hard he had to be hospitalized for a broken nose and cut lip.
He is claiming his incident at the Tonys was related to the brain hemorrhage that almost took his life nearly one year later.
The suit was reportedly filed with the L.A. Superior Court March 25 and says, “One of the most common causes of this type of hemorrhage is head trauma — exactly like the one Michaels suffered at the hands of the Tony Awards.”
Do YOU think Bret has a case or is he placing inappropriate blame? Sound off below.
