Reese Witherspoon dishes all the ‘dirty’ details about working with Rob Pattinson on Water For Elephants.
Robert Pattinson may be one of the prettiest boys in Hollywood, but his grooming habits are sub-par. Reese Witherspoon, who plays Rob’s lover in Water For Elephants, told Entertainment Weekly that Hollywood’s hottest heartthrob is a little dirty!
“It’s a boy thing, right? To have dirty fingernails and hair, and his clothes were dirty all the time!” revealed newlywed Reese.
We all know Rob rocks the ‘dirty artist’ look, but we hope he doesn’t let his personal hygiene suffer for his appearance! However we can’t blame him too much, the movie is about a traveling circus. Reese also revealed that Rob enjoyed the change of scenery because he got to work on his tan!
“It was a nice escape for him to be tan and in the sun all the time instead of the vampire gear,” said Reese.
We can’t wait to see Rob as a tan, rugged, circus performer! What do you think? Will you go see Rob and Reese in Water For Elephants or are you disgusted by Rob’s bad hygiene?

EVERYBODY Reese was speaking about Jacob the character in the movie Water for Elephants. Reese is a Southern Belle and would never speak harshly about anyone. agree with the person who told that!REESE WAS TALKING FOR THE MOVIE CHAACTER!IN MOVIE ROB PLAYS JACOB A VET,THE CONDITIONS ARE REALLY DIFFICULT ANS HE’S DIRTY,HE DOESN’E HAVE A SHPWER AND CLEAN CLOTHES FOR DAYS!GET OVER IT!

Here is the thing people, Rob played a circus Vet working with elephants and circus animals–should he have had manicured fingernails. In the book Jacob(Rob)wore the same clothes for days and it was during the depression. All he had in clothes is what he jumped the train wearing…Duh. Has anybody read the book? Rob is playing a dirty character.

I am going to have dirty fingernails, too after I scratch her dang eyes out. He didn’t say anything about her enormous chin. He wouldn’t say anything bad about her or anyone else so I wish people would quit talking bad about him.

In several interviews I’ve seen of Reese, she gushes about how “attractive” and “goodlooking” he is. In the movie Water for Elephants, Rob plays a vet working for a circus. He’s shovels sh*t and works with the animals all day long, getting dirty. She was referring to his character, Jacob. And regarding the hygiene rumors, Rob was being an idiot and joked about not showering. Any time you read a post about his lack of hygiene, it always comes from “a source” and never directly attributed to anyone. The rumors got so out of hand that Peter Faccinelli spoke out saying there has never been a problem with Rob and hygiene. And people who think Rob’s ugly based on a few unflattering pics, you need to see him in person! He is breathtakingly beautiful! There’s a reason phototographers, interviewers, fans and co-stars remark about how handsome he is.

This is ridiculous! She was referring to his role in the film. Not in ONE of the million photographs I have seen of Rob, he has dirty fingernails. And his hair has not looked dirty in ages. Give the guy a break, will you?

It is awful how Hollywood Life twists people’s words! I read this interview with Reese and she mentioned this dirty fingernails & clothes in relation to the character Rob played in “Water for Elephants” – not Rob himself! It makes me so mad when magazines misquote like that just to stir people!

Bonnie, give me a break! Do you know some people actually believe this nonsense? Really, some won’t go see this film, with three great actors and a wonderful story, because of crap like this. So, let me offer a counter, for the sake of Rob, and moviegoers everywhere.
Rob showers. He said so. There.
In this film he plays a circus vet who shovels sh*t and takes care of the animals. If he was “sparkling” clean (Oh God, did I say that?) well, people might get their movies mixed up, and we couldn’t have that. Bad enough his name is Jacob.
I can’t believe Reese said this as a jab at Rob, whom she said was “extraordinarily attractive,” among other positive things. His personal hygiene certainly didn’t alter her opinion of him – including the physical, now did it? No! Of course not! You have taken statement out of context and twisted to suit your needs, which is to create controversy.
Why can’t you focus on the actual film and create some positive vibes, which, considering the talent and the story would not be difficult. This is shameful.
