Carrie Ann Inaba got more than she bargained for as she hosted Live With Regis & Kelly March 31, when boyfriend Jesse Sloan presented the Dancing With the Stars judge with a pretty amazing gift — an engagement ring! Carrie, who had previously spent the segment denying rumors of an engagement between the two, happily accepted. Congratulations!
Clearly not one for a simple proposal, Jesse, 39, actually got Regis Philbin‘s help to pop the big question. Regis read a letter on air from a man looking for a way to propose to his girlfriend of two years — and out walked Jesse!
“I struggle to find the words to express what you mean to me,” Jesse said. “You’re an inspiration. You’re everything to me. Will you marry me?” An emotional Carrie, 43, responded: “Yes. I will marry you.”Awwwww!
