Stephenie reveals Bella’s gown is “really beautiful” and has “an edge to it”. Robert Pattinson get ready to drool!
We have been dying to know what Kristen Stewart‘s wedding gown will look like when her character Bella Swan finally marries Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn. Now, Stephenie Meyer tells USA Today more details about the bridal gown, which she says is “really beautiful.” Keep reading to find out what she had to say!
“It’s such an interesting mix,” the writer and creator of Twilight confesses. “It has a vintage feel, but at the same time, there’s an edge to it. It’s really beautiful. And then on Kristen — oh, she looks amazing in clothes —and in that dress she’s so lithe and unbelievable.”
Lithe and unbelievable? Vintage but edgy? It sounds so perfect for Bella/Kristen Stewart! I don’t see Bella being comfortable in a pretty, pretty princess ball gown and this seems much more suited for her character and personality type.
The wedding scene hasn’t been filmed yet, but we will give you every detail we have on it once Kristen and Rob start working on the anticipated scene. In the meantime, aren’t you glad Bella has someone like Alice Cullen to “pick out” such a nice dress?

PLEASE let that sketch in the article NOT be the design for
Bella’s wedding dress! It looks like a bride float! Bella is not a frou-frou frilly girl; her wedding gown would have simple lines to it. A lace pattern from the period Edward grew up before he turned vamp acts as an overlay for the gown, or even in trim. Jewelry from that time period to accentuate the simple design are also nods to the groom. I know the book says a vintage look to the gown, but if it looks costumy they’ll never hear the end of it.
