Robert Pattinson got very close to his co-star on the set of his upcoming flick Water for Elephants — so close that he couldn’t keep his lips off of her. And, to this day, he can’t shut up about how fabulous she is!
Does R-Patz’s girlfriend Kristen Stewart have to worry that Rob may have gotten too close to Reese Witherspoon? Heck no! Rob’s affections were directed towards a different co-star … the elephant!
“I think I had a relationship with the elephant,” Rob admitted at WonderCon. But “it was kind of based purely on candy.”
So how did Rob court this elephant? “I strategically placed mints, like, suck on a peppermint for a bit and then stick it onto [my] body, like into my armpits…and [I didn't] tell anyone,” he laughed. “So every single time the elephant would be constantly sniffing me, and I’d be like, ‘I don’t know, she just really likes me, it’s crazy!’ But yeah, I think she was just sniffing around for a treat.”
Aww! Looks like K-Stew has nothing to worry about .. especially since Reese just tied the knot to Jim Toth on March 26 at her ranch in Ojai, Calif.
