After her own stint in treatment for emotional distress, Demi Lovato voiced her support on Twitter for Catherine Zeta-Jones April 14!

Hollywood was shocked when news broke Wednesday that A-list celebrity Catherine Zeta-Jones, 41, had entered a mental health facility to deal with her Bipolar II disorder. Although Catherine has received an overwhelming amount of support and well wishes from her family, friends, fans and celebrity peers, her decision to seek professional help hits especially close to home for 18-year-old singer and Disney star, Demi Lovato.

Demi, who recently stepped back into the spotlight after taking time to work out her own emotional issues, took to Twitter and let her fans know Catherine is someone to look up to.

“I don’t know Catherine Zeta-Jones personally but what she has decided to do is SO brave.. And SO difficult but worth it… I’m proud of her,” Demi wrote.

Since her time in rehab, Demi has teamed up with Seventeen magazine and launched her own campaign “Love is stronger than the pressure to be perfect.” to help those dealing with emotional stress and pressure.
