This lucky little girl was uninjured from her terrifying plummet!

Something was definitely watching over 16-month old Jah-Nea Myles on April 20, as she fell from a fourth floor balcony at an Orlando hotel — and was caught by a passerby!

British tourist Helen Beard, 44, was poolside at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites around 11 p.m. when she saw the baby ready to fall off the balcony, Reuters reports. She quickly ran to where she approximated the child would land, and shortly after the baby dropped. Although she hit the balcony directly below on her way down, Jah-Nea fell into Helen’s arms. Helen could not keep her from hitting the ground, but she cushioned the fall enough so that by the time paramedics arrived, Jah-Nea was healthy and responsive!

“She’s perfectly fine. Not a scratch on her body,” said Helena Myles, 20, Jah-Nea’s mother. “I’m thanking the Lord above right now for saving my child’s life. I’m also thanking that lady because she was an angel sent from heaven.”

Helena and Jah-Nea live near Orlando and were staying in the hotel while friends from out-of-town were visiting. At the time of the fall, Jah-Nea was in the care of Helena’s friends, who didn’t see Jah-Nea leave the room.

“I’m not upset with anyone. I’ve had it out with my friends. But other than that, I’m thanking God right now that my child’s here,” Helena said.

No charges are set to be filed for the negligence.

We can’t believe little Jah-Nea is safe — she’s officially the luckiest baby around!
