Simon Cowell has revealed he wants Paula Abdul to be a judge on his upcoming show The X Factor!
Simon, 51, says Paula, 48, has been in consideration the whole time he’s developed the talent competition, Deadline reports exclusively.
“”I’ve always wanted Paula,” Simon says. “Always been very vocal about that. I missed her the second she left the show. Always loved working with her even though she can be a pain. And I’ve been consistent about this. I don’t know what it is about her, but I’ve always clicked with her. You just have to get that chemistry, and she’s right. I’ve never found anyone better than her. I think there’s a good chance it will be her. We’ve agreed that we would meet as many people as possible, and now we’re reaching the deadline we’ve got to make the decision soon. But I think she’s got a really good shot.”

We’re sure Paula would accept, given that her latest shot at television, Live to Dance, was a flop that didn’t get renewed for a second season.
She would join Simon along with two other judges, said to be former chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group Antonio “L.A.” Reid and controversial British singing sensation Cheryl Cole.

i have never watched american idol, but it sound like paula will be a good judge, as for cheryl…..well, the americans will see right through her within the first few shows on x factor.

Of course, they are meant to be together on TV, Idol sucked once they split up Paula and Simon.

OMG!!! I really hope to see Paula on X-Factor. I’m dying to see a Paula/Simon reunion. They have wonderful chemistry together, and believe me … they will be the number one reason for the show’s success. :)

Good lord! I’ve never realized how couply they looked until I saw that picture :O who knew.
I love and miss Paula on AI. Although Live to Dance bore me to death, I am looking forward to her being on my TV every week again.
As for Cheryl Cole, I’m addicted to her 3words song and I think she is GORGEOUS, but I’m a bit puzzled over that decision. Nobody knows her… oh well I’m so watching!
