He cheated with her, but now that they’re married, will Eddie cheat on Leann?

Do cheaters ever change? That’s the question of the hour now that a couple famously caught in the act of cheating on their spouses — Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian – officially call one another husband and wife. But just because you know he’s already cheated in the past, does that mean he will in the future?

Leann and Eddie, married at the time to Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanville, were caught in the act and outed after co-starring on a made-for-TV movie. They ditched their now-exes, started dating one another and, on April 22, wed privately in California.

They certainly seem to be in love, but Eddie also seemed to love his ex, with whom he has two sons. Can he change? Can she?

I believe that everyone has the capacity to cheat, but some guys stick to their moralistic guns and refuse to do so. Eddie is not one of those guys. However, if he hadn’t been caught cheating red-handed (by the media, no less), would he have actually left Brandi for Leann in the first place and destroyed his happy family?

I think Leann needs to be very, very smart here. She seems to be starry-eyed and nearly worshipful about Eddie. I don’t think she’d actually believe if he did cheat on her. But she shouldn’t be that naive — if he’s cheated with you, there’s a very, very good chance he’s going to cheat on you.

Heed that advice yourselves. You’ve seen the evidence firsthand, so why don’t you believe it could happen to you? Like I always say, you’re the rule — not the exception. If he’s faithful, I’ll be the first person to congratulate you. But I really don’t think he will be — and neither should you.
