The Creative Director of Elle and star of the Sundance Channel Show, ‘All on the Line,’ tells me exclusively that in his opinion, Kate should go sleek and modern when she gets married.
“I’d love it if she went strapless, but I doubt she will,” says Joe. “She would look beautiful in a gown that’s more simple — not a big ball gown.”
So who would be his top pick for wedding gown designer if he had a choice? “Stella McCartney! After all she’s rock royalty and Kate‘s marrying into ‘royalty,’” he says.
Also, Joe points out, “Stella’s a career woman, and she’s a mom of three — I really think Kate would relate to her! They’d have a good rapport.”
Plus, McCartney is no stranger to designing major celebrity wedding gowns. She famously designed the corsetted fairy tale wedding gown Madonna wore to marry Guy Ritchie in Dec. 2000, AND she served as maid of honor!
