Do you think Elena will live through ‘the sacrifice?’ Nina gives us the straight talk on her character’s fate.

While we Vampire Diaries fans are busy worrying about whether Elena (Nina Dobrev) will choose to be with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) or Stefan (Paul Wesley), we’re all forgetting one very important thing: Elena may not live long enough to make that choice! “[Damon and Elena] definitely have chemistry,” Nina admitted to HollywoodLife.com on April 25 at the TriBeca Film Festival premiere of Last Night, hosted by Cinema Society. “But right now, she’s just trying to survive the day.”

And it sounds like Nina may actually get to watch the May 12 season finale, as she told us she recently (finally) bought a TV!

“I just got a TV like three weeks ago,” she said. “Believe it or not, I got a 3-D TV. I decided I had to go big or go home — from nothing to the biggest thing there is.”

We’re glad to hear Nina will finally get to watch the show from the comfort of her own home. Now let’s hope it’s not just in time to watch Elena meet her end!
