Kate Gosselin is off to the races! The mom-of-eight took to her Twitter to tell fans that she is going to the 2011 Kentucky Derby in Louisville — but you know she probably can’t go alone.
The Kate Plus 8 star travels with her bodyguard Steve Neild constantly because of her fear that she’ll be harassed by fans. Keep in mind Julia Roberts doesn’t even travel with protection! Which leads us to think that this is more of Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner Bodyguard situation.
“Well, GN. Lots 2 do before I’m off 2 the races (derby, lol) in next few days,” she tweeted. “Can u hear me galloping 2 bed? Gotta get sleep & get house back in order 1st.”
Kate just revealed on the May 2 episode of Kate Plus 8 that she will “never” do online dating, and that she will only date an “older man.”

OKAY, so she NEEDS a bodyguard? What the hell good is he doing riding in the front seat of an open car with her Heinous in the back doing her queenieish wavey thingy? Most REAL bodyguards would be walking alongside the rear of the car (and the city would NOT have to provide security for her, as did they do that for anyone else or was she the ONLY one in danger in the whole parade?).

Just because Ms. Roberts does not travel with a bodyguard does not mean any other celebrity (male or female) should.
Just because Ms. Gosselin does travel with a male bodyguard does not mean it is an inappropriate “Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner Bodyguard situation”
All celebrities should travel with trained and licensed celebrity protection specialists, and I don’t mean the big “goon” types that many celebrities trust with their lives and/or reputations.

She needs security for her “overzealous fans.” Those are Steve’s words. The people who dislike Kate Gosselin wouldn’t want to be in the same room with her, let alone the same State.
She needs security so her rabid crazy fans don’t come up to her and talk to her. She needs security because she hates her fans.

For pete’s sake… why doesn’t she just call it a day and say that she and Steve are an item. It would make it a lot easier because why on earth does she need a body guard? It’s so beyond obvious, is TLC paying his salary? The New Zealand thing was somewhat of a giveaway… why else would she have gone there?

Ha! The ironic thing is that people ARE getting off her back and off her show and don’t give a crap ANYMORE…Have you noticed the little “forky thing”(as kate would say, thinking she is oh so cute)in her back FRANN SHEEPLE PERSON??? Gee Whiz…did you see how rude she was to her ONE fan on the show the other night?? she should be kissing her fans feet right about now as they leave one by one…The coming story will be how on earth she handles being a regular person again with absolutely no attention and special treatment and MOST of all…NO FREEBIES….If she thought that tower was a big fall, she is store for a BIG surprise..She is in for a big fall and hard landing..:) and it is past due..:)

Kate’s time in the spotlight is almost over. Time for her to face reality, big time. Never in my life have I seen a more undeserving person as her.
She’s gonna need a bodyguard when the show is cancelled…She’ll probably crack when she can’t afford the nannies, housekeeper, private school, trips, and everything else handed to her for nothing.
I bet TLC has been tearing their hair out paying her 250,000 an episode for a show that has never been a ratings pull, and is now offically in the toilet.
Those kids need their privacy and some attention from their Mother. I doubt they will ever get it because that hillbilly has seen the spotlight and now she ”Can’t Go Back.” Ha Ha…The public has finally spoken, No More Kate Plus Eight!!! What’s she gonna do now?
