Four years after getting hired by the brand, Gap’s chief designer Patrick Robinson has been abruptly fired. A fashion industry veteran, Robinson has worked for leading brands like Giorgio Armani, Anne Klein, and Perry Ellis. Just last year at the Met Ball, Gap sponsored the event, partnering with designers like Rodarte, Alexander Wang, Sophie Theallet, and Thakoon. Some of the starlets who donned the Gap dresses included Kirsten Dunst, Jamie Bochert, Jessica Alba, Vera Farmiga, Kerry Washington, Riley Keogh, M.I.A., and Zoe Kravitz.

Gap has been a staple in every American’s wardrobe for years now, and although they have not been doing as well financially as of late, it’s still a huge loss. Who do you think should be next to revitalize the brand?
