The Spice Girl baby boom has begun! Emma Bunton has given birth to a baby boy, Tate!

Baby Spice beat out pregnant bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel B to deliver little Tate on May 6.“He was born on May 6 2011 and weighed in at 7lbs,” Emma and partner Jade Jones announced. “Both mother and baby are doing well and the family are over the moon and would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support.”

Little Tate has a big brother Beau, 3, and lots of Spice Cousins — Emma’s bandmates have 6 children between them, with another 2 on the way. Both Scary and Posh Spice are due to deliver in the next few months!

Emma recently revealed the Spice Girls have rebonded since they all became moms. She said, “Because we’re all so busy we don’t get to see as much of each other as we’d like but when something like this happens the bond we have shines through. It’s like a sisterly relationship and that will always be there.

“In fact Scarlet (Mel C‘s daughter) and Cruz (Victoria and David Beckham‘s son) have birthdays close together so it’s great excuse to get together,” Emma says.
