Lamar Odom attacked Dallas Mavericks player Dirk Nowitski yesterday and was ejected from the Lakers game. Losing your temper is one thing but physically harming someone is another, should Khloe be scared?
Lamar Odom and the Los Angeles Lakers were blown out in the NBA Playoffs on May 8 and the only thing people are talking about is the meltdown that Lamar Odom had during the end of the game. “You also have to lose like a champion, that was uncalled for!” ESPN analyst Mike Tirico blatantly and rightfully addressed during the ordeal. But what also should be addressed is Lamar’s hidden anger that was brought on by being frustrated and not getting what he wants. Which begs the question, could he be harmful to others, in particular his wife Khloe Kardashian?
People who show violent behavior, especially on national television, have anger issues. When stress occurs, if that is going to tip off Lamar’s mood, then what is going to happen when he has an argument with Khloe, either on their reality show or in their daily lives? Now that Lamar doesn’t have the distractions of the basketball season, he will be home more often and his wife Khloe Kardashian may be an easy target for his outbursts.
The family obviously attracts scum bags along the lines of Scott Disick who has more times then not been verbally abusive to Khloe’s sister Kourtney Kardashian. Lamar and Khloe have been married less then two years after a rather quick courtship and there has even been issues with shooting their reality show, Khloe & Lamar.
Could the outburst on the court be about something that is happening at home? Should Khloe worry about Lamar’s temper and the way he will treat her? All interesting questions that I am positive we will get answers on one way or another. One thing is for sure, Lamar needs to man up and address his anger problems so it never has the opportunity to fall over to his personal life.

I do accept as true with all of the ideas you’ve offered in your post. They’re really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are too brief for beginners. May just you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.

OK, i think some sanity and a different perspective is called for here. My team, Oklahoma City’s THUNDER, is in the finals playing the Mavs now. I watched Nowitski shove one of our players HARD! We don’t play like that in OK or Dallas, it was just shocking. So the Thunder player pushed him back and got the foul called on him! Dirk is HUGE, over 7 feet tall, it’s almost impossible to *not* foul him, and now i have seen him IN OUR STADIUM acting in a very un-sportsmanlike way! So who knows what he did that set Odom off. Odom wasn’t the only one thrown out either!! This whole thing is just really curious to me. Odom is known as a good guy, in the NBA for what, 12 -13 years now? He’s not a wife beater. Shame on you for even hinting that he is.

Why is it that his one outburst is all of a suddedn an issue and an indicator he is going to beat his wife? Is it because he’s black and a ball player? PLEASE. He is a good guy, he had one ungentlemanly momment. Its the Playoffs that were on the line. Not a salary bonus of $100 but the playoffs. Lots of presssure. The article above is ingorant and very prejudicial. Charlie Sheen drinks and has been violent with his wives.

Many racist people want Lamar to lash out at Khloe because they don’t like the fact that Lamar has Khloe. This would give stupid people a reason why she shouldn’t be with him. Andrew did much worst so why isn’t he mentioned? Maybe if he were married to Lauren Conrad he would get talked about as well. It’s 2011 get over it!

stupid wimpy article. Russ you are a sensitive little baby who obviously knows nothing about basketball and lamar odom. how many flagrant and technical fouls has lamar have his whole year, and have you seen the reality show. Lamar hasn’t even raised his voice once in the show. It’s basketball, a physical sport– ok he showed extra anger once, doesn’t mean squat. you are writing blogs for a website called hollywoodlife with a pink background. you don’t know a damn thing about basketball and lamar. talk about hollywood life when they are in reality; and stay off the topic about sports

This article is stupid. just because Lamar go into a fight on the court does not mean he is going to hit Khloe. You should be smacked for this article.

Totally stupid article!Lamar getting physical in a basketball game does not mean he’s going to abuse her. What trouble makers! Many men fight with each other or even play rough with each other but don’t go around hurting women.

I agree! Its quite a stretch. If you’re not a psychologist and you haven’t treated him then don’t speak about his capabilities. I can see in other cases where the abuse is quite clear. But this is all opinion and speculation.

I second your comments Ted. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. So I suppose every hockey player’s wife should sleep with one eye open. Stop reaching for stories – this is nonsense.

this is the dumbest article i have ever seen. have you ever played organized sports before? even the most mild mannered players make mistakes when frusturated, upset. Example: steve nash, michael jordan, ray allen. there is no correlation between a hard foul on the court and domestic abuse. this is the most pathetic attempt at journalism possibly of all time.

This is an interesting story. About 10 years ago, Lamar really wanted to date me and I turned him down numerous times. All of my friends thought I was dumb for the obvious, but I kept telling them there is something about him I don’t like and I couldn’t put a finger on it. It was just that gut feeling that kept telling me to leave him alone. After reading this article and finding out he has a hidden temper was probably a life saver for me. Hopefully he gets a grasp on it because being passive-aggressive is dangerous.
