She’s so embarrassed as the music went out during her performance of ‘On The Floor!’
This wouldn’t fly on American Idol!
Jennifer Lopez, 41, channelled Ashlee Simpson‘s infamous Saturday Night Live meltdown during a performance of her hit song ‘On The Floor’ — the music went out and she was left going through the motions without vocals!
J. Lo – the total pro played it cool however during the May 14 Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center, looking fierce the whole time and addressing the audience when her mic came back on, at about 2:11 on our video.
“Nobody keeps mama down,” she told the adoring crowd. “This is what show business is all about, baby. Who’s getting fired tonight? Somebody’s getting fired tonight!
Then once the sound came back on she played a flawless, high-energy version of the song from the top.
This is how the pros do it she told the crowd You said it, baby!

Shes Friggin awesome! she held it together and kept going! a true icon and performer!!!
She sooooooooooooo did not need something like to happen to herm but instead of freaking out and leaving the stage (like a some with a supposed diva-behaviour attitude would do) she kept her cool, got the crowd even more pumped up and finished her performance with her dignity intact!
GO J.LO! She is the best performer out there and deserves all the success in the world!

I was at it at it. I went to see Britney but she was presenting it instead. Her and pitbull sang live. Everything shut down. I can tell the writer of this article wasn’t at it. Second hand information is not the same as in being there.

@Davina and Eloise >>> I was at the very front of the stage, with 10 of my friends and she was not singing live. I’m a big fan of JLO for several years, and still is but please, be truthful to your comments. A true fan should be honest and loyal but JLO made a mistake and we don’t have to lie about it.

WOW cares is J.LO and she like alot of artist are allowed a malfaction and at least she keeped her cool. I’m sure she laughed about it later, like I am about this article.
